Our goal is to provide quality, individualized, evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help children and adolescents improve their communication, reading, and social skills in a functional way.
We see each child as an individual and treat them that way. We work closely with the family and other professionals to develop a treatment approach that considers the whole child, not just one isolated area.
Therapy should be engaging. We use a child's interests and strengths to build confidence and motivation while scaffolding to more challenging tasks.
Therapy should be applied. We don't work on a skill in an isolated context. We work on skills that are relevant to the child's life - whether that be vocabulary related to a classroom topic or social skills relevant to activities they are engaged in.
